YOUR ROLE

Being a part of the StudySmarter Product & Engineering department, and the frontend expertise specifically, means you’ll be working as part of a team where you can contribute meaningfully, and your impact is immediate.
Your team owns a significant chunk of our product. Together with your teammates you’ll be responsible for taking that chunk, and with it the whole product, to the next level. We take ideation and engineering seriously, we believe in experimenting, prototyping, failing fast, learning and improving. We believe in proven technology, but are not afraid to innovate. As a frontend engineer within StudySmarter, you’ll be working on our web application and Ionic-powered mobile app. We stand for shared, reusable and clean code. Of course, there is room for improvement. This is why we invite you to leave your mark, to introduce concepts and practices you believe in.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Our stack consists of TypeScript, Angular (v17), Ionic/Capacitor, ngrx, Cypress, Storybook. But if you have relevant parallel experience, we can help you transition smoothly.

OUR TECH STACK

Of course, working at StudySmarter has its perks. As an engineer in our team, you’ll get to do some exploration and innovation on our biweekly Discovery Days. Additionally, in Product & Engineering we have quarterly hackathons, allowing for some larger cross-discipline collaboration.
